Motorcycles R Us opened back in 1981 as Springwood Suzuki in Underwood Brisbane, owned and operated by the same person as today, Tony Armstrong. Tony’s hard work and dedication in business and as a championship winning motorcycle racer with Australian Superbikes has grown his business from a small popular workshop to a two story motorcycle superstore. Originally dedicated just to Suzuki, growth in Brisbane’s population allowed the dealership to turn multi-franchise, hence the implementation of the Motorcycles R Us name.
Tony's Brisbane store now support many known and trusted motorcycle and watercraft brands, such as Suzuki, KTM, Can-Am Spyder, and the latest - Ducati. Plus, a large range of pre-owned motorcycles, as well as varied range of known brands for protective riderwear and bolt-on motorcycle accessories. We have an eBay store too, where heavily discounted items go to find a new home to lucky customers.
In 2006, Tony acquired Mega Motorcycles in Bundaberg, which holds Suzuki, Honda and Husqvarna motorcycles. Tony’s son Anthony manages this store with his dedicated local team, focusing on the Wide Bay rural community, and working in partnership with the team at Underwood.
Tony still keeps a specialised workshop, with modern Dyno, special tools and trained technicians, wash bay and dedicated tyre store. Our finance desk is here just for you and our stock, with Suzuki Finance (Pepper Money), AMF and KTM and Ducati Finance (BoQ) to fund your new purchase, and QBE and Mi-Bike Insurance to protect you and your asset.
A crowd favourite is the in-house eatery, Tony’s Café run by Hailey and Jill and their dedicated team, where breakfast, lunch and coffee is served Monday to Saturday. Well priced tasty dishes in the motorcycle environment you love to be in.
Tony and his staff invite you to visit to see the range of stock in-store and speak to the experts who still treat you like the small caring store we once were, proving there is no better service than that received from an independently owned store.
Tony below racing, back in the day - enjoy!
